गमिष्ये ब्रह्मसदनं त्वं च तिष्ठ वरानने । एवमुक्त्वा गतो रुद्रो गौरी तत्र व्यवस्थिता

gamiṣye brahmasadanaṃ tvaṃ ca tiṣṭha varānane | evamuktvā gato rudro gaurī tatra vyavasthitā

“ഞാൻ ബ്രഹ്മസദനത്തിലേക്ക് പോകുന്നു; നീ ഇവിടെ തന്നേ നില്ക്കുക, ഹേ സുന്ദരമുഖീ.” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് രുദ്രൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടു; ഗൗരീ അവിടെ തന്നെ നിലകൊണ്ടു.
