शक्रलोकं स गत्वा तु पूज्यते कल्पसंस्थितः । शंकर उवाच । एवंविधा भवति चेन्नारी व्रतपरायणा

śakralokaṃ sa gatvā tu pūjyate kalpasaṃsthitaḥ | śaṃkara uvāca | evaṃvidhā bhavati cennārī vrataparāyaṇā

അവൻ ശക്രലോകത്തിൽ (ഇന്ദ്രലോകത്തിൽ) ചെന്നു ഒരു കല്പകാലം മുഴുവൻ പൂജിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. ശങ്കരൻ പറഞ്ഞു—വ്രതങ്ങളിൽ പരായണയായി ദൃഢനിഷ്ഠയുള്ള സ്ത്രീ ഇങ്ങനെ ആയാൽ, അവൾക്കും അതുപോലെയുള്ള ഫലം ലഭിക്കും।
