FAQs

The comparison elevates the āśrama as a sanctified space where austerity (tapas) creates a heaven-like purity and spiritual radiance, implying that sacredness is generated by dharma and realization rather than location alone.

In Purāṇic and yogic imagery, spiritual attainment and intense tapas are portrayed as tejas (inner brilliance). Calling him “sun-like” signals exceptional ascetic power, purity, and authority.

It suggests that disciplined spiritual life can transform one’s environment and one’s presence—true greatness is marked by inner luminosity (tejas) born from virtue, restraint, and devotion to truth.
