किं कुर्वे जनकाज्ञातो गतो वै दंडकं वनम् । तत्रापि त्वत्कृपापांगात्तीर्णोऽस्मि दुःखसागरम्

ഞാൻ എന്തു ചെയ്യുമ്? പിതാവിന് അറിയാതെ ഞാൻ ദണ്ഡകവനത്തിലേക്കു പോയി; എങ്കിലും അവിടെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ കൃപാകടാക്ഷത്താൽ ഞാൻ ദുഃഖസാഗരം കടന്നുപോയി।
