अयोध्यां प्रविवेशाथ कृतकौतुकतोरणाम् । हृष्टपुष्टजनाकीर्णामुत्सवैः परीभूषिताम्

പിന്നീട് അദ്ദേഹം അയോധ്യയിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചു—അവിടെ ഉത്സവതോരണങ്ങൾ പണിതിരുന്നു; ഹർഷിതവും പുഷ്ടവുമായ ജനസമൂഹം നിറഞ്ഞതും, ഉത്സവങ്ങളാൽ മനോഹരമായി വിഭൂഷിതവുമായിരുന്നു।
