इति वाक्यं समाकर्ण्य जगाद सुमतिस्तदा । वक्ष्यमाणगुणागार रामचंद्र पदाब्जधीः

iti vākyaṃ samākarṇya jagāda sumatistadā | vakṣyamāṇaguṇāgāra rāmacaṃdra padābjadhīḥ

ആ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് സുമതി അപ്പോൾ പറഞ്ഞു—പുകഴ്ത്തപ്പെടാനിരിക്കുന്ന ഗുണനിധിയായ ശ്രീരാമചന്ദ്രന്റെ പദ്മപാദങ്ങളിൽ അവളുടെ മനസ്സ് നിശ്ചലമായി പതിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു।
