तं वै तपोनिधिं वीक्ष्य महता तपसायुतम् । स्तुत्वा प्रसादयामास मुनिवर्य दयां कुरु

taṃ vai taponidhiṃ vīkṣya mahatā tapasāyutam | stutvā prasādayāmāsa munivarya dayāṃ kuru

മഹത്തായ തപസ്സാൽ യുക്തനായ ആ തപോനിധിയെ കണ്ടു അവൻ സ്തുതിച്ചു പ്രസാദം നേടാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു—“മുനിവര്യാ, ദയ കാണിക്കണമേ.”
