रथिभिः पत्तिभिर्वीरैः सदश्वैः सादिभिर्वृतः । ययौ मुदा रघूत्तंस महायज्ञहयाग्रणीः

rathibhiḥ pattibhirvīraiḥ sadaśvaiḥ sādibhirvṛtaḥ | yayau mudā raghūttaṃsa mahāyajñahayāgraṇīḥ

രഥികരും പാദാതി വീരന്മാരും ഉത്തമ അശ്വങ്ങളും സേവകരും ചുറ്റിനിന്നപ്പോൾ, രഘുകുലതിലകൻ മഹായജ്ഞ അശ്വമേധത്തിന്റെ അഗ്രനായകനായി ആനന്ദത്തോടെ പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
