पुराणवाचकं ब्रह्मन्जयंतीव्रतिनं तथा । ये पश्यंति नराः पापास्ते यांति परमं पदम्

purāṇavācakaṃ brahmanjayaṃtīvratinaṃ tathā | ye paśyaṃti narāḥ pāpāste yāṃti paramaṃ padam

ഹേ ബ്രാഹ്മണ, പാപികളായ മനുഷ്യർ പുരാണവാചകനെയും അതുപോലെ ജയന്തീവ്രതധാരിയെയും ദർശിച്ചാൽ, അവർയും പരമപദം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
