Fast, Vigil, and Worship of Hari/Kṛṣṇa

मातापित्रोर्गुरूणां च भक्तिं युक्तः करोति यः । तत्फलं समवाप्नोति जयंत्यां समुपोषणे

mātāpitrorgurūṇāṃ ca bhaktiṃ yuktaḥ karoti yaḥ | tatphalaṃ samavāpnoti jayaṃtyāṃ samupoṣaṇe

ഭക്തിയോടെ മാതാപിതാക്കളെയും ഗുരുക്കന്മാരെയും ആദരിച്ചു സേവിക്കുന്നവന്, ജയന്തീ ദിനത്തിൽ വിധിപൂർവ്വം ഉപവാസം അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചാലും അതേ പുണ്യഫലം ലഭിക്കുന്നു।
