Application: Cultivate steady nāma-smaraṇa and truthful speech; see devotional practice as a living relationship where grace can ‘arrive’ unexpectedly in crises.

The speaker is Sūta, presenting the episode in a third-person narrative frame typical of Purāṇic storytelling.
Garuḍa-dhvaja is a standard emblem of Hari/Viṣṇu, signaling divine authority, protection, and the unmistakable presence of Vaiṣṇava power and grace.
The verse underscores that divine assistance and auspicious signs manifest at pivotal moments; devotion to Hari is portrayed as being supported by His attendants and symbols of protection.
