aṣṭamyekādaśībhūtā dharmakāmārthavāṃcchubhiḥ | varjayitvā prayatnena saptamīsaṃyutāṣṭamī

ധർമ്മം, കാമം, അർത്ഥം ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് അഷ്ടമി ഏകാദശിയോടു ചേർന്നാൽ, പരിശ്രമത്തോടെ സപ്തമിയോടു ചേർന്ന അഷ്ടമിയെ ഒഴിവാക്കണം.
