Concept: Steady, long-term spiritual discipline culminates in direct divine response; praise (stuti) and protection (rakṣā) surround the devotee when the vow matures.

Application: Commit to a long horizon in practice—measure progress in years and character, not days; create protective boundaries (rakṣā) around your sādhanā and keep uplifting speech (stuti) in your environment.

Secondary Rasa: shanta

FAQs

The verse refers to a “mahābhāgā” (a greatly fortunate/noble lady). Her specific identity depends on the surrounding narrative in Bhūmi-khaṇḍa, Adhyāya 5.

It literally means “when a full hundred years were completed,” indicating a long, completed period after which a decisive divine event occurs.

The verse highlights divine responsiveness: sustained reverence (praise) and careful guardianship culminate in Viṣṇu’s presence, reinforcing a Vaishnava theme of grace arriving at the proper time.
