Mādhava is a revered name of Viṣṇu (often also used for Kṛṣṇa), indicating the supreme divine figure whom the celestial beings approach in reverence.
It signifies humility and surrender—approaching the divine with folded hands, a classic Purāṇic marker of bhakti and respectful petition.
Even exalted beings model reverence and restraint, implying that true authority is accompanied by humility and that guidance should be sought respectfully from the divine.
