स हि गर्जति शूकरजातिरवैरथसंस्थितकोशल येन जवैः । गदया निहतः किल भूपतिना रणमध्यगतः स हि यूथपतिः

sa hi garjati śūkarajātiravairathasaṃsthitakośala yena javaiḥ | gadayā nihataḥ kila bhūpatinā raṇamadhyagataḥ sa hi yūthapatiḥ

ശൂകരജാതിയിൽ ജനിച്ച ആ യൂഥപതി സിംഹനാദംപോലെ ഗർജിച്ചു. രഥമില്ലാതെ നിന്ന കോശലസേനയെ അവൻ വേഗാക്രമണങ്ങളാൽ തകർത്തു; എന്നാൽ യുദ്ധമദ്ധ്യേ രാജാവ് ഗദകൊണ്ട് അവനെ തീർച്ചയായും വധിച്ചു।
