ब्राह्मण उवाच । सोमशर्मन्महाप्राज्ञ त्वं पितुर्भक्तितत्परः । अमृतस्य महाकुंभं रक्ष दत्तं मयाधुना
brāhmaṇa uvāca | somaśarmanmahāprājña tvaṃ piturbhaktitatparaḥ | amṛtasya mahākuṃbhaṃ rakṣa dattaṃ mayādhunā
ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ മഹാപ്രാജ്ഞ സോമശർമൻ, നീ പിതൃഭക്തിയിൽ തത്പരനാകുന്നു; അതിനാൽ ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ നിനക്കു ഏല്പിച്ച അമൃതത്തിന്റെ മഹാകുംഭം കാത്തുരക്ഷിക്ക.
