Prabhāsa-kṣetra: Circuit of Tīrthas and Shrines Leading to Bhukti and Mokṣa
kuṃtīśvaraṃ samabhyarcya mucyate sarvapātakaiḥ | gaṃgeśvaraṃ samabhyarcya gaṃgāyāṃ manujaḥ plutaḥ || 50 ||
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches tirtha-mahatmya: sincere worship of the presiding deity (Kuntīśvara/Gaṅgeśvara) and sacred bathing in the Gaṅgā are presented as powerful means for cleansing sin and accruing religious merit.
Bhakti is shown in concrete form through samabhyarcana—reverent, proper worship of the deity at a sacred site—where inner faith is expressed through prayer, offerings, and humility, yielding purification.
Ritual practice (kalpa-oriented discipline) is implied: correct procedure of worship (arcana) and tirtha-snana (sacred bathing) as dharmic acts, though no specific Vyākaraṇa/Śikṣā/Jyotiṣa detail is explicitly stated in this verse.
