snātvā prabhāsake tīrthe somanāthaṃ prapūjya ca | naro muktimavāpnoti satyametanmayoditam || 4 ||
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents Prabhāsa-snānā (ritual bathing at the tīrtha) together with Somanātha-pūjā as a direct, purifying sādhanā whose fruit is mokṣa, emphasizing the salvific power of tīrtha-mahātmyas in the Uttara-bhāga.
Bhakti is expressed here as concrete devotional action—reverent worship (prapūjya) after tīrtha-snānā—showing that sincere, prescribed acts of devotion at a holy kṣetra are affirmed as spiritually transformative and liberating.
The verse primarily highlights kalpa-type practical ritual discipline (tīrtha-snānā and pūjā-vidhi). It does not directly teach technical Vedāṅga topics like vyākaraṇa or jyotiṣa, but it presumes correct ritual performance and pilgrimage observance.
