भविष्यकार्यं विज्ञाय देवा विष्णुसमाज्ञया । कामोदाख्ये पुरे देवीं कामोदां पूजयंति हि ॥ ८ ॥

Transliteration

bhaviṣyakāryaṃ vijñāya devā viṣṇusamājñayā | kāmodākhye pure devīṃ kāmodāṃ pūjayaṃti hi || 8 ||

Translation

ഭാവിയിൽ സംഭവിക്കാനുള്ള കാര്യത്തെ അറിഞ്ഞ്, ദേവന്മാർ വിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ ആജ്ഞപ്രകാരം ‘കാമോദാ’ എന്ന നഗരത്തിൽ കാമോദാ ദേവിയെ നിശ്ചയമായി ആരാധിക്കുന്നു।
