अथ कामोदामाहात्म्यम् । मोहिन्युवाच । कामोदायास्तु माहात्म्यं ब्रूहि मे द्विजसत्तम । यच्छ्रुत्वाहं तव मुखात्प्रसन्ना स्यां कृतार्थवत् ॥ १ ॥
atha kāmodāmāhātmyam | mohinyuvāca | kāmodāyāstu māhātmyaṃ brūhi me dvijasattama | yacchrutvāhaṃ tava mukhātprasannā syāṃ kṛtārthavat || 1 ||
ഇപ്പോൾ കാമോദാ തീർത്ഥത്തിന്റെ മഹാത്മ്യം. മോഹിനി പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ദ്വിജശ്രേഷ്ഠാ, കാമോദയുടെ മഹിമ എനിക്കു പറയുക; അത് നിങ്ങളുടെ മുഖത്തിൽ നിന്നു കേട്ട് ഞാൻ പ്രസന്നയായി കൃതാർത്ഥയെന്നപോലെ ആകട്ടെ।
