The Greatness of Puruṣottama
Goloka-tattva and Rādhā–Kṛṣṇa Upāsanā
अनिर्देश्यं तु यद्देवि तन्नेतीति निषिध्तयते । निषेधशेषः स विभुः कीर्तितः शरणागतैः ॥ ३८ ॥
anirdeśyaṃ tu yaddevi tannetīti niṣidhtayate | niṣedhaśeṣaḥ sa vibhuḥ kīrtitaḥ śaraṇāgataiḥ || 38 ||
ഹേ ദേവീ, അനിർദ്ദേശ്യമായതിനെ ‘നേതി നേതി’—‘ഇതല്ല, അതല്ല’ എന്ന നിഷേധത്തിലൂടെയാണ് സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. എല്ലാ നിഷേധങ്ങൾക്കു ശേഷം ശേഷിക്കുന്നവൻ ആ സർവ്വവ്യാപിയായ പ്രഭു; ശരണാഗതർ അവനെ കീർത്തിക്കുന്നു।

It teaches that the Supreme Reality cannot be captured by descriptions; it is approached by negating all limited identifications (“neti neti”), and is realized as the all-pervading Lord praised by surrendered devotees.
Even while using a Vedantic method of negation, the verse culminates in devotion: the Supreme ‘remainder’ beyond concepts is not merely analyzed but kīrtita—praised—by those who take refuge (śaraṇāgati).
