FAQs

It states the classic Purāṇic fruit (phala) of great merit: divine escort to Viṣṇu’s realm, with the additional emphasis that the merit benefits not only the practitioner but also extends to twenty-one generations of the family line.

By presenting Viṣṇuloka as the destination, the verse frames the practice being praised in this chapter as Viṣṇu-oriented devotion and dharma whose culmination is proximity to Viṣṇu, not merely worldly reward.

No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; it functions as a phala-shruti typical of Purāṇic ritual/pilgrimage sections, reinforcing the motivational structure used in dharma and vrata narratives.
