It frames Krishna-katha as a sacred “rahasya” whose deeper purpose is Brahman-realization—seeing Krishna’s līlā as revealing the non-dual truth (brahmaikatva).
By presenting Krishna’s deeds as “sugopya” and transformative, it implies that devoted hearing (śravaṇa) of Krishna’s līlā is not mere storytelling but a direct means to spiritual awakening.
The verse emphasizes śravaṇa (attentive listening) and precise teaching (pravakṣyāmi), aligning with disciplined transmission of sacred knowledge—more a pedagogical principle than a specific Vedanga like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa in this line.
