उच्चैः प्रचुक्रुशुद्रेवि मातः क्वासीतिवादिनः । यदा नाह्वयते माता बालकांस्तान्स्तनार्थिनः ॥ ३१ ॥

ഹേ ദേവീ! സ്തന്യം തേടിയ ആ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾ ഉച്ചത്തിൽ നിലവിളിച്ചു—“അമ്മേ, നീ എവിടെയാണ്?”—എന്ന്, അമ്മ അവരെ വിളിക്കാതിരുന്നപ്പോൾ।
