Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It prescribes disciplined preparation—reaching the sacred site, purifying oneself through a three-night fast, and invoking Agni (Jātavedas) with proper fuel—showing that tirtha-worship is perfected through tapas (austerity) and Vedic sanctification.
Bhakti here is not merely emotional; it is expressed as reverent, rule-guided worship—fasting, approaching a holy place, and lighting sacred fire—so devotion becomes steady through vrata and ritual purity.
It reflects Kalpa/Śrauta-Smārta ritual know-how: correct upavāsa timing (three nights) and appropriate samidh (palāśa wood) for kindling Agni, emphasizing procedural accuracy in religious observance.
