śrṛṇuṣva narasiṃhasya prabhāvaṃ vidhinaṃdini | ajitasyāprameyasya bhuktimuktipradasya ca || 81 ||
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It frames Narasiṃha as the supreme, unconquered and immeasurable Lord whose grace spans both aims of life—earthly well-being (bhukti) and liberation (mukti)—making devotion to Him a complete spiritual refuge.
By inviting attentive hearing (śṛṇuṣva) of the Lord’s prabhāva, it emphasizes śravaṇa (devotional listening) as a key bhakti practice, directing the mind to Narasiṃha’s divine attributes and saving power.
No specific Vedāṅga technique is taught in this verse; the practical takeaway is the bhakti-sādhana of śravaṇa—systematic listening to māhātmyas/stotras as a devotional discipline.
