Suta (narrating a dhyana/stuti description within Uttara-Bhaga context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It functions as a dhyāna-lakṣaṇa (meditative iconography): concentrating the mind on Vishnu/Krishna’s auspicious form—lotus-like eyes, yellow garment, and powerful limbs—so devotion becomes steady and distraction-free.
Bhakti is supported by vivid remembrance (smaraṇa) and meditation (dhyāna). By lovingly contemplating the Lord’s compassionate and auspicious form, the devotee’s heart naturally turns toward worship, praise, and surrender.
This verse is primarily a dhyāna description rather than a technical Vedāṅga teaching; its practical takeaway aligns with ritual practice (kalpa): using a specified form-description as a mental image during japa, pūjā, and stotra recitation.
