Śāpaprāpti (Receiving a Curse) — Mohinī Narrative
देयं वेतनमात्रं तु न च तुष्टिफलं भवेत् । यो न तस्मै प्रयच्छेत जीवनं जीवनाय वै ॥ ३७ ॥
deyaṃ vetanamātraṃ tu na ca tuṣṭiphalaṃ bhavet | yo na tasmai prayaccheta jīvanaṃ jīvanāya vai || 37 ||
കുറഞ്ഞപക്ഷം നിശ്ചിത വേതനം എങ്കിലും നൽകണം; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ തൃപ്തിയുടെ പുണ്യഫലം ഉണ്ടാകില്ല. ജീവിക്കാനായി അവനു ജീവിക നൽകാത്തവൻ തന്റെ കടമയിൽ നിന്ന് വഴുതുന്നു.
