Unspecified speaker within the Adhyaya’s narrative (a male speaker addressing a woman, śubhe/śobhane)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: karuna
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
The verse emphasizes dharmic assurance: a promised act of giving is framed as a means to remove distress and restore contentment, with trust (viśvāsa) presented as the inner support that allows dharma to bear fruit.
Although not a direct bhakti instruction, it highlights a core devotional attitude—trusting truthful words and righteous intent—an inner disposition that also underlies śraddhā in worship, vows, and pilgrimage narratives in the Uttara Bhāga.
No explicit Vedāṅga topic is taught; the practical takeaway is ethical discipline in speech and action—keeping one’s word and performing intended dāna—central to dharma-based ritual life described across Purāṇic practice.
