The Narrative of the Pativrata
यो भार्यां प्रणतां पापोनानुमन्येत गर्वितः । सोऽशुभानि समाप्नोति जन्मानि दश पंच च ॥ ६९ ॥
yo bhāryāṃ praṇatāṃ pāponānumanyeta garvitaḥ | so'śubhāni samāpnoti janmāni daśa paṃca ca || 69 ||
വിനയത്തോടെ നമിച്ച ഭാര്യയെ അംഗീകരിക്കാത്ത (മാനിക്കാത്ത) പാപിയായ അഹങ്കാരി പുരുഷൻ അശുഭഫലങ്ങൾ അനുഭവിച്ച് പത്ത് കൂടെ അഞ്ച്—അഥവാ പതിനഞ്ച്—അമംഗളജന്മങ്ങൾ പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
