The Narrative of the Pativrata
तद्गृहीतं तु दैत्येन मयेन लोकमायिना । तं हत्वा मलये दैत्यं दैत्यकोटिसमावृतम् ॥ ४१ ॥
tadgṛhītaṃ tu daityena mayena lokamāyinā | taṃ hatvā malaye daityaṃ daityakoṭisamāvṛtam || 41 ||
ലോകമായയുടെ അധിപനായ ദൈത്യൻ മയൻ അതിനെ പിടിച്ചെടുത്തു. തുടർന്ന് മലയപർവതത്തിൽ കോടി ദൈത്യന്മാർ ചുറ്റിനിന്നിരുന്ന ആ ദൈത്യനെ വധിച്ച് (ആ വീരൻ) മുന്നോട്ട് നീങ്ങി.
