Rukmāṅgada–Vāmadeva Saṃvāda: Ahimsa, Hunting, and the Fruit of Dvādaśī-Bhakti
तमाह वामदेवस्तु ब्रूहि किं ते ददाम्यहम् । नादेयं विद्यते राजन्गृहायातस्य तेऽधुना ॥ ४६ ॥
tamāha vāmadevastu brūhi kiṃ te dadāmyaham | nādeyaṃ vidyate rājangṛhāyātasya te'dhunā || 46 ||
അപ്പോൾ വാമദേവൻ പറഞ്ഞു—പറയുക, ഞാൻ നിനക്കു എന്തു നൽകണം? ഹേ രാജാവേ, നീ ഇപ്പോൾ എന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തിൽ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിനക്കു നൽകാനാകാത്തത് ഒന്നുമില്ല.
