Adhyaya 82 — The Rise of Mahishasura and the Manifestation of the Goddess from the Gods’ Tejas
देव्या गणैश्च तैस्तत्र कृतं युद्धं तथासुरैः ।
यथैषां तुतुषुर्देवाः पुष्पवृष्टिमुचो दिवि ॥
devyā gaṇaiśca taistatra kṛtaṃ yuddhaṃ tathāsuraiḥ / yathaiṣāṃ tutuṣurdevāḥ puṣpavṛṣṭimuco divi
അവിടെ ദേവിയും അവളുടെ ഗണങ്ങളും അസുരന്മാരോടു മഹായുദ്ധം നടത്തി. സ്വർഗത്തിലെ ദേവന്മാർ ആനന്ദിച്ച് പുഷ്പവൃഷ്ടി ചൊരിഞ്ഞു.
When dharma is restored, the cosmos responds in harmony; the gods’ flower-rain is a purāṇic sign of approval for righteous victory and the rebalancing of order.
