Adhyaya 82 — The Rise of Mahishasura and the Manifestation of the Goddess from the Gods’ Tejas

Sanskrit

जयेत्ये देवाश्च मुदा तामूचुः सिंहवाहिनीम् ।

तुष्टुवुर्मुनयश्चैनां भक्तिनम्रात्ममूर्तयः ॥

Transliteration

jayeti devāś ca mudā tām ūcuḥ siṃhavāhinīm | tuṣṭuvur munayaś caināṃ bhaktinamrātmamūrtayaḥ ||

Translation

ദേവന്മാർ ആനന്ദത്തോടെ സിംഹവാഹിനിയോട് ‘ജയം!’ എന്നു വിളിച്ചു; ഋഷിമാർ ഭക്തിയാൽ നമിച്ച ദേഹങ്ങളോടെ അവളെ സ്തുതിച്ചു।
