Adhyaya 80 — Vaivasvata Manvantara: Enumeration of Manus and the Eighth Manu Sāvarṇi
पाताल आस्ते योऽद्यापि दैत्यः समयबन्धनः ।
विरजाश्चार्ववीरश्च निर्मोहः सत्यवाक्कृतिः ।
विष्ण्वाद्याश्चैव तनयाः सावर्णस्य मनोर्नृपाः ॥
pātāla āste yo ’dyāpi daityaḥ samayabandhanaḥ / virajāś cārvavīraś ca nirmohaḥ satyavāk kṛtiḥ / viṣṇvādyāś caiva tanayāḥ sāvarṇasya manornṛpāḥ
ആ ദൈത്യൻ ബലി ഇന്നും ഉടമ്പടിയാൽ ബന്ധിതനായി പാതാളത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു. വിരജ, ചാർവവീര, നിർമ്മോഹ, സത്യവാക്, കൃതി, വിഷ്ണു മുതലായ മറ്റു പലരും—ഇവർ സാവർണി മനുവിന്റെ പുത്ര-രാജാക്കന്മാർ.
