Adhyaya 8Vasu's Redemption

मा शापानलनिर्दग्धः पञ्चत्वमुपयास्यसि ।

स तथा चोद्यमा‍नस्तु राजा पत्न्या पुनः पुनः ॥

mā śāpānala-nirdagdhaḥ pañcatvam upayāsyasi | sa tathā codyamānas tu rājā patnyā punaḥ punaḥ ||

ഇങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യരുത്! ശാപാഗ്നിയിൽ ദഗ്ധനായി നീ നാശം പ്രാപിക്കും (പഞ്ചഭൂതങ്ങളിൽ ലയിക്കും). ഭാര്യ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും ഉപദേശിച്ചിട്ടും രാജാവ് അതുപോലെ തന്നെ തുടർന്നു।
