त्वान्तु मे पश्यतो वत्से दिनानि सुबहून्यपि ।
मुहूर्तार्धसमानि स्युः किन्तु धर्मो विलुप्यते ॥
tvāntu me paśyato vatse dināni subahūny api / muhūrtārdhasamāni syuḥ kintu dharmo vilupyate
“വത്സേ, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ കാണുമ്പോൾ അനേകം ദിവസങ്ങളും അർദ്ധനിമിഷംപോലെ തോന്നുന്നു; എങ്കിലും നീ ഇവിടെ അയോഗ്യമായി പാർത്താൽ ധർമ്മഹാനി സംഭവിക്കും।”
