Adhyaya 76 — The Sixth Manvantara: Cakshusha Manu, the Child-Snatcher, and the Problem of Kinship

Sanskrit

उपयेमे विदर्भां स सुतामुग्रस्य भूभृतः ।

तस्याञ्चोत्पादयामास पुत्रान् प्रख्यातविक्रमान् ॥

Transliteration

upayeme vidarbhāṃ sa sutām ugrasya bhūbhṛtaḥ / tasyāṃ cotpādayāmāsa putrān prakhyātavikramān

Translation

അവൻ രാജാവ് ഉഗ്രന്റെ പുത്രി വിദർഭയെ വിവാഹം ചെയ്തു; അവളിലൂടെ പരാക്രമപ്രസിദ്ധരായ പുത്രന്മാരെ പ്രസവിപ്പിച്ചു.
