मया च याचितः पुर्वं ब्रह्ममित्रो 'भवन्मुनिः । आयुर्वेदमशेषं मे भगवन् दातुमर्हसि ॥

mayā ca yācitaḥ pūrvaṃ brahmamitraḥ 'bhavan muniḥ | āyurvedam aśeṣaṃ me bhagavan dātum arhasi ||

മുമ്പ് ഞാൻ മുനി ബ്രഹ്മമിത്രനോട് അപേക്ഷിച്ചു—‘ഭഗവൻ, ഒരു അവശേഷവും ഇല്ലാതെ സമഗ്രമായ ആയുർവേദം എനിക്ക് ദാനം ചെയ്യണം’ എന്ന്।
