Adhyaya 63 — The Birth of Svarocis and the Rescue of Manoramā: The Astra-Heart and the Healing of Curses

ममाप्येवं महद्रक्षः समुपैति पदानुगम् ।

न शृणोषि महानादं तस्यादूरेऽपि गर्जतः ॥

Transliteration

mamāpyevaṃ mahadrakṣaḥ samupaiti padānugam | na śṛṇoṣi mahānādaṃ tasyādūre 'pi garjataḥ ||

Translation

എന്നെയും ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു മഹാരാക്ഷസൻ പാദപാദം പിന്തുടർന്ന് അടുത്തേക്ക് വരുന്നു. ദൂരത്തുനിന്നും മുഴങ്ങുന്ന അവന്റെ ഭയങ്കര ഗർജ്ജനം നീ കേൾക്കുന്നില്ലേ?
