Adhyaya 57 — The Ninefold Divisions of Bharata: Mountains, Rivers, and Peoples
विन्ध्यश्च पारियात्रश्च सप्तैवात्र कुलाचलाः ।
तेषां सहस्रशश्चान्ये भूधराः ये समीपगाः ॥
vindhyaś ca pāriyātraś ca saptaivātra kulācalāḥ | teṣāṃ sahasraśaś cānye bhūdharā ye samīpagāḥ ||
വിംധ്യയും പാരിയാത്രയും—ഇങ്ങനെ ഇവിടെ ഏഴ് ‘കുലാചല’ പർവ്വത-സംവിധാനങ്ങൾ പ്രസ്താവിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അവയുടെ സമീപത്ത് ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് മറ്റ് ആധാരഭൂത സഹായക പർവ്വതങ്ങളും ഉണ്ട്.
