Adhyaya 51 — Yaksha Injunctions: Graha-Children and Female Spirits Causing Domestic and Ritual Disruptions
प्रविश्य गर्भमत्त्येको भुक्त्वा मोहयतेऽपरा ।
जायन्ते मोहनात् तस्याः सर्पमण्डूककच्छपाः ॥
praviśya garbham atty eko bhuktvā mohayate 'parā | jāyante mohanāt tasyāḥ sarpa-maṇḍūka-kacchapāḥ ||
ഗർഭത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ച ഒരു ശക്തി ഭ്രൂണത്തെ ഭക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; മറ്റൊന്ന് ആഹാരം കഴിച്ച് മോഹം ജനിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. ആ മോഹത്തിൽ നിന്ന് സർപ്പങ്ങൾ, തവളകൾ, ആമകൾ ജനിക്കുന്നു.
