विंशतिश्च सहस्राणि कालोऽयं साधिकं विना ।

एतन्मन्वन्तरं प्रोक्तं दिव्यैर्वर्षैर्निबोध मे ॥

viṃśatiś ca sahasrāṇi kālo 'yaṃ sādhikaṃ vinā | etan manvantaraṃ proktaṃ divyair varṣair nibodha me ||

ഈ കാലം അധികഭാഗമില്ലാതെ ഇരുപതിനായിരം (വർഷം) ആകുന്നു. എന്നിൽ നിന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾക: ദൈവവർഷപ്രമാണത്തിൽ ഇതിനെ മന്വന്തരമെന്ന് പറയുന്നു.
