Adhyaya 46 — Cosmic Dissolution, the Emergence of Brahma, and the Measures of Time (Yugas, Manvantaras, and Brahma’s Day)
चतुर्युगानां संख्याता साधिका ह्येकसप्ततिः ।
मन्वन्तरं तस्य संख्यां मानुषाब्दैर्निबोध मे ॥
caturyugānāṃ saṃkhyātā sādhikā hy eka-saptatiḥ | manvantaraṃ tasya saṃkhyāṃ mānuṣābdair nibodha me ||
മന്വന്തരത്തെ (കൂടുതൽ അംശത്തോടുകൂടി) എഴുപത്തൊന്ന് ചതുര്യുഗങ്ങളായി കണക്കാക്കുന്നു. മനുഷ്യവർഷങ്ങളിൽ അതിന്റെ സംഖ്യ എന്നിൽ നിന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾക.
