Adhyaya 46 — The Continents
त्रेता त्रीणि सहस्राणि दिव्याब्दानां शतत्रयम् ।
तत्सन्ध्या तत्समा चैव सन्ध्यांशश्च तथाविधः ॥
tretā trīṇi sahasrāṇi divyābdānāṃ śatatrayam | tat-sandhyā tat-samā caiva sandhyāṃśaś ca tathāvidhaḥ ||
ത്രേതാ യുഗം മൂവായിരം ദിവ്യവർഷങ്ങളാണ്; അതിന്റെ സന്ധി മൂന്നു നൂറ് വർഷം. സന്ധ്യയും അതേ അളവ്, സന്ധ്യാംശവും അതേ അളവാണ്.
