Adhyaya 45Jaimini’s Cosmological Questions and the Opening of Markandeya’s Account of Primary Creation

अनाद्यन्तं जगद्योनिं त्रिगुणप्रभवाप्ययम् ।

असाम्प्रतमविज्ञेयं ब्रह्माग्रे समवर्तत ॥

anādy-antaṃ jagad-yonim tri-guṇa-prabhavāpyayam |

asāmpratam avijñeyaṃ brahmāgre samavartata ||

അത് അനാദി-അനന്തം, ജഗത്തിന്റെ യോനി, ത്രിഗുണങ്ങളുടെ ഉത്ഭവ-ലയങ്ങളുടെ ആശ്രയം; അന്ന് അത് പ്രത്യക്ഷമായി ജ്ഞേയമായിരുന്നില്ല, ബ്രഹ്മാവിന് മുമ്പേ തന്നെ അത് നിലനിന്നിരുന്നു.
