Adhyaya 3 — The Dharmapakshis’ Past-Life Curse and Indra’s Test of Truthfulness

Sanskrit

ततः प्रीतिमता तेन तेऽनुज्ञाता महात्मना ।

जग्मुः शिखरिणां श्रेष्ठं विन्ध्यं द्रुमलतायुतम् ॥

Transliteration

tataḥ prītimatā tena te 'nujñātā mahātmanā |

jagmuḥ śikhariṇāṃ śreṣṭhaṃ vindhyaṃ drumalatāyutam ||

Translation

പിന്നീട് പ്രസന്നനായ ആ മഹാത്മാവ് കൃപാപൂർവ്വം അനുമതി നൽകിയതോടെ അവർ പുറപ്പെട്ടു, വൃക്ഷലതകളാൽ സമ്പന്നമായ പർവ്വതശ്രേഷ്ഠമായ വിന്ധ്യത്തിലേക്ക് പോയി।
