पालनेनैव भूतानां कृतकृत्यो महीपतिः ।

सम्यक् पालयिता भागं धर्मस्याप्नोति यत्नतः ॥

pālanenaiva bhūtānāṃ kṛtakṛtyo mahīpatiḥ / samyak pālayitā bhāgaṃ dharmasyāpnoti yatnataḥ

ജീവികളുടെ സംരക്ഷണം മാത്രത്താൽ തന്നെ ഭൂമിപതി തന്റെ കർത്തവ്യം നിർവഹിച്ചു. യഥാവിധി പരിശ്രമത്തോടെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നവൻ ധർമ്മത്തിന്റെ പങ്കായ പുണ്യഫലം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
