Adhyaya 23 — The Brahmin and His Wife
तमुत्थाप्य बलाद्गाढं नागेन्द्रः परिषस्वजे ।
मूर्ध्नि चैनमुपाघ्राय चिरं जीवेत्युवाच सः ॥
tam utthāpya balād gāḍhaṃ nāgendraḥ pariṣasvaje | mūrdhni cainam upāghrāya ciraṃ jīveti uvāca saḥ ||
നാഗേന്ദ്രൻ അവനെ ബലമായി ഉയർത്തി ഉറച്ചായി ആലിംഗനം ചെയ്തു; പിന്നെ തലയിൽ മണമെടുത്തു (ചുംബിച്ച്) “ദീർഘായുസ്സോടെ ജീവിക്ക” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു।
