Adhyaya 22 — Kuvalayashva’s Death through Daitya-Deceit and Madalasa’s Self-Immolation
युध्यमानो यथाशक्ति निघ्नन् ब्रह्मद्विषो युधि ।
मायामाश्रित्य पापेन भिन्नः शूलेन वक्षसी ॥
yudhyamāno yathāśakti nighnan brahmadviṣo yudhi | māyāmāśritya pāpena bhinnaḥ śūlena vakṣasī ||
അവൻ യഥാശക്തി യുദ്ധം ചെയ്ത്, ബ്രഹ്മധർമ്മത്തെ ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരെ रणത്തിൽ വീഴ്ത്തി; എന്നാൽ ആ പാപി മായയെ ആശ്രയിച്ച് അവന്റെ വക്ഷസ്ഥലം ത്രിശൂലത്തോടെ കുത്തി ഭേദിച്ചു.
